🏰Prague, Prague Castle | One of the largest castles in Europe, with a thousand years of history

"It's like I've wandered into a fairy tale world"

These words perfectly describe Prague Castle (Pražský hrad) in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.

This castle, which stands on a hill overlooking the Moldau River, is one of the largest castles in the world and a special place that has been the residence of Czech kings and presidents for about 1,000 years.

■Sights

🕍St. Vitus Cathedral

A Gothic cathedral that stands in the center of Prague Castle. The beautiful stained glass and arches stretching high into the sky are impressive, and it also has high historical value, such as the tomb of Charles IV and the St. Wenceslas Chapel.

🏛️Old Royal Palace

A royal palace from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, the magnificent Vladislav Hall was once the site of kings' coronations and jousting tournaments.

🏰Golden Lane

A cute street lined with small, colorful houses. It is said that alchemists lived in the 16th and 17th centuries, and the author Franz Kafka is said to have lived here as well.

🪞Daliborka Tower, White Tower, Black Tower, etc.

Prague Castle, which also served as a fortress, still has watchtowers and prisons, allowing you to feel the harshness of life and politics at the time.
