Prambanan was built in the 9th century. The oldest evidence of this temple is in the stone inscription called Syiwagrha, 856 AD, which mentions the temple of the Trimurti, which are the incarnations of the three supreme gods: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Prambanan is a World Heritage Site and is considered one of the largest Hindu religious sites in the world. The temple is notable for its architecture and the grandeur of the prang, which is 47 meters high. It is located about 18 kilometers from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. #indonesia #prambanan
