Petrozavodsk: A kingdom of forests and lakes.

🟡Petrozavodsk (Петрозаводск) is located on the shores of Lake Onega, the second largest freshwater lake in Europe. It is a city with unique northern characteristics, such as fresh air and a pleasant climate.🌍

🟢From here, you can take a boat to Kizhi Island, which is famous for its wooden buildings.

🔵Lake Onega (Онежское Озеро) is blue all year round, and the fresh and comfortable wind blows from the distant forest around the lake.

🟣The charm of Karelia, known as the "Kingdom of Forests and Lakes", can be seen here.

🟤Among the small islands floating on the lake, the most famous is Kizhi Island. The ferry departs from the Onega Lake Pier to Kizhi Island. In winter, a thick layer of ice forms on the surface of Lake Onega.
