AstakaMorocco was built as a symbol of cultural exchange between Malaysia and Morocco. It was completed over two years, using materials imported directly from Morocco, and was constructed by skilled craftsmen and builders from North Africa, faithfully recreating Moroccan buildings. The garden is a popular photo spot, but photography is prohibited in the back area. You can buy tickets to enter the back area at the ticket office of Taman Botani Putrajaya.
