Luobutan is located in Nandianqian Village, Luoshi Town, Fengxin County, Jiangxi Province. It has eight pools and eight waterfalls. The waterfalls cascade down, some wide and some narrow, some as wide as a jade belt hanging to the ground, some as narrow as a green pillar reaching the sky, with a sound like thunder, roaring; it may be rain or fog. Rain is the splash of water and rocks, and fog is the water droplets drifting in the wind.
The water in the pool is as clear as a mirror, with green mountains on both sides reflected in the water, clouds and mist circling the cliffs, creating a magnificent scene. At sunrise after rain, a rainbow appears in the mist from the waterfall, which is quite magical and makes people praise it endlessly. Exotic trees are entwined on both sides of the mountain stream, and the whole place is lush and green. Exotic flowers are in full bloom, and the fragrance is refreshing.
There are eight pools and eight waterfalls in Luobotan. The straight-line distance from the first pool to the eighth pool is about 500 meters. The eight pools have different shapes, some deep and some shallow, some round and some flat. The water is blue and clear all year round, with fish and shrimps playing around. The largest pool covers an area of more than 700 square meters. Each of the eight pools is different, some cascading down, some trickling. The largest waterfall has a horizontal surface of about 12 meters and a drop of about 15 meters.
The subtropical monsoon climate makes it suitable for travel in all four seasons.
There are more than 20 large and small waterfalls and eight scenic spots in the scenic area: Fun in the Fruit Forest; Quiet Peach Valley; The First Waterfall Group in Jiangnan with a total of eight pools and eight waterfalls; Thousand-year-old Trees and Banana Garden; Frosty Maple in Late Autumn; Winter Melody of Plum Ridge; Meditation in the Temple; and Sightseeing in Green Love.
The rocks between the eight pools are bizarre, resembling human figures and objects, sculpted by nature and earth, evoking the imagination. Their lifelike forms resemble elephants drinking, buffaloes frolicking in the waves, turtles burrowing in the sand, and even a flock of frogs croaking. Grass grows beneath the rocks, thorns atop them. On either side of the stream, towering mountains offer a verdant landscape, dotted with fir forests, swathes of bamboo, and ancient pines. Clusters of flowering trees teem with the fragrance of exotic flowers, and unusual trees crisscross the landscape. Standing by any pool is like entering a fairyland, enchanting and unforgettable.
It is recommended to play for about 2 hours.
