Putrajaya is the current administrative center of Malaysia. It's a bit like the presidential palace in our country or the White House in the United States. The federal government, parliament, and royal palace used to be all in Kuala Lumpur. The traffic was too congested during rush hour, so we moved to this up-and-coming town.

The area is very concentrated with attractions. Most people come here for the pink mosque. Admission is free, and burqas are free to borrow. It looks like Harry Potter! 😆 Girls are basically required to wear one, except for children. Shoes must be removed inside. Even in such hot weather, it's still cool inside the mosque, even without the air conditioning.

The atmosphere inside is very solemn. No noise is allowed. The rose-colored granite is truly beautiful in photos. From a certain angle outside, it looks like it's floating on the water. The Prime Minister's Office and Putra Plaza are both nearby. You can also take a boat tour to enjoy the scenery of Putrajaya Lake. Such a large lake is surprisingly artificial. I'm quite impressed.

About a half-hour drive from downtown Kuala Lumpur. You can arrange a stopover at Kuala Lumpur Airport before arriving or departing.
