If anyone asks ๐ where in Malaysia is so beautiful that you'd say "wow!" ๐, one of my answers would undoubtedly be the Putra Mosque, or Pink Mosque, located in the heart of Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia. It's designed with a modern and orderly aesthetic. ๐๏ธ
On this trip, I wanted to see the beautiful interior of the Pink Mosque, but I happened to visit during a religious ceremony. ๐ So I didn't go inside. What a shame! ๐ But I was lucky enough to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere, as the exterior itself is already stunning. The building is elegant, with its striking pink dome contrasting with the sky and the nearby lake, making the image look like it came out of a postcard. ๐ธ
๐ก Fun fact:
โจ Built in 1997 and completed in 1999, it cost over RM250 million.
๐ฅ It can accommodate up to 15,000 worshippers at a time!
๐๏ธ The design is inspired by a blend of Islamic architecture, including Moroccan, Iranian, and traditional Malay styles.
๐ธ The main dome is pale pink, earning it the nickname "Pink Mosque."
๐ผ The minaret, standing at 116 meters, is one of the tallest mosques in the world.
Putrajaya itself is equally fascinating. This new city, built by the Malaysian government as the administrative center of Malaysia, resembles the "administrative capital." The city is filled with beautiful buildings with striking designs. ๐๏ธ The bridges are uniquely designed, and the surrounding large lake creates a lush atmosphere perfect for strolling and taking photos. ๐ทโจ
Although I missed the chance to go inside, it made me realize that sometimes travel isn't just about reaching the destination; it's about experiencing the atmosphere and capturing memories along the way. โค๏ธ
If you're planning a trip to Malaysia, don't forget to stop by Masjid Putra and stroll around Putrajaya. You're guaranteed to take some beautiful photos and unforgettable memories. ๐ธ
