√From May to September every year, the entire grassland is lush with grass and water, flowers are everywhere, cattle and sheep are swimming around, and pastoral songs are loud, so it is praised by tourists as "Jiangnan outside the Great Wall".
√The largest wind power capital in Asia.
√ Rapeseed fields, sunflower fields and rare and exotic herbs in the mountains and forests together constitute the unique "Magical Herb Garden" in Huanghuagou.

✓ Let’s talk about the advantages first. On a sunny day like today, the big wind blades and wind farms under the blue sky and white clouds constitute the beautiful scenery of the Huanghuagou grassland. But this beautiful scenery is not unique. The big wind farms in Zhangbei Tianlu grassland are also very beautiful; and the Ximeng grassland is no less than the Huanghuagou grassland.
✓The scenery outside the scenic area is more beautiful and refreshing.

❌What remains are the shortcomings and various pitfalls that need to be counted one by one.
❌First, there is almost no grass in Huanghuagou grassland. It is very thin and sparse. If you post pictures without filters, you will be embarrassed to say that you have been to the grassland.
❌Secondly, I hardly saw any sheep or cattle. When I entered the scenic area, I saw a few cows surrounded by many people watching and taking pictures. On the way there, I saw a few horses, and the convoy that stopped on the roadside to take pictures was more than 500 meters long. On the contrary, if you go to the Ximeng grassland, you can see sheep, cattle and horses everywhere on the road.
❌Third, the tickets for Huanghuagou Scenic Area are very expensive, with two packages of 235 and 255. The difference is that 235 does not include the return cable car, and you need to climb up from the 300-meter-deep ditch by yourself... 255 includes the return cable car. The package includes the cost of the small train, cable car, carriage or jeep... Other activities in the ditch are at your own expense, such as horse riding and archery. The train was very small and simple, and so was the cable car. We did not take the cable car down into the ditch because there were too many people and the experience was very poor, especially since we had to wait a long time for the train and it was very crowded. The carriage also requires a long wait.
❌Fourth, the worst thing is that it takes a long walk from the entrance of the scenic spot to the small train station, and the road is a wooden road built on a grassland without grass. It is very narrow... Many people walk below the wooden road, and it is dusty... It doesn't look like a 4A scenic spot at all.
❌Fifth, the ticket hall of the scenic spot is even more chaotic with all kinds of music, the crowd is crowded, and the toilets are unbearable to look at. People with mysophobia and those who love cleanliness should avoid it. I seldom criticize a scenic spot, but today I can't stand it.
❌There are some small pitfalls in traveling that I won’t point out one by one. If you have enough money and time, and don’t care about the availability of grass and service details, you can still take a set of personal beauty photos like me and then come out.
❌The better yurts in the scenic area cost more than one thousand yuan. It is recommended to return to the city or Hohhot and stay in a good hotel for only five or six hundred yuan. We finally returned to Crowne Plaza Zhangjiakou 🏨 Crowne Plaza Chongli Cuiyun Mountain Resort

Itinerary: If you do not enter the scenic area, two hours is enough, and you can enjoy horse riding and other activities nearby. If you enter the scenic area, it will take at least 4 to 6 hours.
Self-driving route:
⭕From Beijing to the west, take the Beijing-Tibet Expressway - Ulanqab - leave from the Zhuozi/Liangcheng exit and keep right into the Zhuozishan Interchange - enter X560 - Huitengxile.
