Super detailed guide to Tianzhu Mountain, you won’t want to come down after climbing! The sea of clouds at the summit is breathtaking!✨
Recommended itinerary:
It’s best to reserve 1-2 days for the trip, with the following route👇
Day 1: Start from the South Gate → Zhenyi Ridge → Mysterious Valley → Tianchi Peak (main peak) → Penglai Peak → Qinglong Back → Liandan Lake
Must-visit spots:
1. Tianchi Peak: After reaching the top, be sure to visit Tianchi Peak at the summit, with an ultra-wide view and a 360-degree unbeatable viewing platform!
2. Mysterious Valley: A very interesting natural granite cave group, you’ll need to use both hands and feet to get through
3. Liandan Lake: China’s third largest high mountain flat lake, the water is like a mirror, and the scenery is stunning
Practical tips:
1. It’s recommended to arrive at the scenic area before 7 AM to avoid crowds and sun, and to catch the beautiful sea of clouds
2. Be sure to wear comfortable, non-slip sports shoes! Some sections are quite steep
3. Bring enough water (at least 2 bottles) and snacks, as there are few supply points on the mountain
4. If you want to see the sunrise, consider staying overnight at the summit
Transportation guide:
1. High-speed rail: Take the train to Qianshan Station, then take the scenic area shuttle bus for about 40 minutes to reach the destination
2. Self-driving: Navigate directly to "Tianzhu Mountain Visitor Center" parking lot, which is very large
Accommodation recommendations:
If you want to stay at the foot of the mountain, we recommend Tianzhu Mountain International Hotel. If you want to watch the sunrise, you can book Liandan Lake Resort Hotel! Remember to book in advance~
