The Chaoqi Oriental Sculpture Park is located at the end of Haining Avenue in the south, at the entrance of the Baili Qiantang Ecological Green Space on Haining Avenue. The historical and cultural connotations and public art characteristics carried by the park reflect the cultural charm and contemporary spirit of Haining, creating a Baili Qiantang spiritual space with rich artistic expressions, and becoming another tide-viewing landscape on the Qiantang River.
After more than a year of soliciting sculptures for the park, the Haining Sculpture Exhibition Art Committee finally received 1,299 sculpture proposals from 644 artists and two design units from 49 countries and regions around the world. 37 sculptures were finally shortlisted for permanent display .
The sculptures in the park are rich in content, made of diverse materials, and well-made, fully demonstrating Haining's profound historical culture, natural landscape, and the concept of contemporary art. Standing in the sculpture garden surrounded by greenery, you will be overwhelmed by a strong literary and artistic atmosphere.
