💗Other tips: I went on a weekday before the Lunar New Year, and there were very few people. The staff were busy decorating for the holiday. It is a great place to visit during the Lunar New Year. There are some local snacks for sale, and you can try Jimo rice wine, which is different from yellow rice wine. It is very pleasant to walk around the ancient city and enjoy the warm winter sun.
There are not many historical traces in this ancient city, as most of it was restored later. If you are looking for history, you may want to consider other options.
