The day I arrived in Qingdao, the sky was very cloudy and soon raindrops started to fall one by one. I was a little worried, but the road to the yacht racecourse felt even more atmospheric because of the rain.

When I arrived at the yacht racecourse, the sight of white yachts quietly anchored under the gray sky looked like a scene from a movie.

As I carefully walked on the deck slightly covered with rainwater, the sound of waves and rain mixed together to tickle my ears.

The occasional sea breeze was a little cold, but I felt a warm sense of leisure filling my heart.

Maybe because it was raining, there were hardly any people, so I was able to have more time to myself. I blankly stared at the scenery of rain falling between the yachts, then sat on a nearby bench and just spent time there. The sound of waves, like classical music coming from somewhere, made my heart feel purified.😃

I went into a nearby cafe for a moment, sat by the window, and ordered warm milk tea. While holding the steaming teacup in my hand, I looked out the window at the yachts and the hazy horizon and thought, “Ah, these moments are what real travel is.”👏

On the way back, the rain got heavier, but that also felt like a special welcome from this city. The yacht stadium on a sunny day would certainly be beautiful, but on a rainy day, the Qingdao yacht stadium was a place full of indescribable, quiet romance~🫠
