Westin Qingdao West Coast: Unlocking a new way to vacation with an exceptional stay experience

Recently, I had business at Ocean University's West Coast campus and chose to stay at The Westin in Huangdao. As a five-star hotel under Marriott, this experience was full of delightful surprises, and I can't wait to share it with everyone!

🏘️ Room Type/Layout: Super lucky! My Titanium Elite status got me upgraded to a 100-square-meter luxury suite. The spacious layout amazed me the moment I stepped in. The separate living room features a cozy sofa area and a dining table for four, perfect for small gatherings with friends. The dual-bathroom design is incredibly thoughtful—the master bathroom not only has double sinks but also a jacuzzi, and both bathrooms come with smart toilets. Full marks for attention to detail! The welcome fruit platter and handwritten note added a special touch, instantly boosting my impression. Even the standard rooms are great—I stayed in one with a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak.

🛌 Amenities/Facilities: The beds are soft and comfortable. While the pillows were a bit high for my preference, the staff promptly provided buckwheat pillows upon request. The pool is spacious and bright, ideal for a refreshing swim followed by a sauna session. The gym is well-equipped to meet all workout needs. Additionally, the hotel's overall design is elegant, with pristine and well-maintained facilities.

🧹 Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring minimal disturbance during rest. The rooms are spotless, with meticulous attention to cleanliness, making the stay both comfortable and worry-free.

🍽️ Dining: During my stay, the executive lounge was booked out, but I was pleasantly surprised by the lavish buffet dinner on the first floor! From seafood and grilled meats to desserts, the variety and flavors were outstanding—a true feast. Breakfast the next morning was equally diverse, offering everything needed to start the day energetically.

🌊 Surroundings: The nearby Navy Park is a hidden gem for photos. Strolling along the coastline with distant green hills in view, especially at dusk, offers breathtaking scenery perfect for relaxation. While the surrounding commercial amenities aren't dense, the area is very convenient for self-driving, making it ideal for a leisurely staycation.

💗 Other Tips: For great food nearby, check out Harbor Pier and Ancient Town Haiyun on Yuehe Flower Street—their seafood is fresh and delicious. Electric scooters are available for rent at Ocean University's West Coast campus, making travel easy. On sunny days, the seaside views are stunning—don’t forget to snap some photos!

The Westin Qingdao West Coast excels in both hardware and service. The spacious suites, delicious food, top-notch facilities, and beautiful sea views make every moment enjoyable.
