Travel Tips

Navigation and Transportation

Navigate to Bijia Mountain Tourist Area in Qingyuan City, about a 1.5-hour drive from Guangzhou.
3km from the entrance of the scenic area, it is recommended to drive or take a taxi.

Costs and Tickets

Parking fee: 20 yuan/time (parking spaces are available along the mountain road).
Tickets: 68 yuan/person for hiking, 128 yuan/person for hiking + rafting (excluding other chargeable items within the park). Rafting restrictions: Children over 1.3m in height, adults under 55 years of age.

Opening Hours

8:30～17:30, entry stops at 16:30, rafting starts at 14:00.

Warm Tips

The ascent is via plank walkways and stone paths, about 25 minutes to the big waterfall, and another 25 minutes from the big waterfall to the mountain top. The descent is on a cement road, about 40 minutes.
There is only one small shop at the mountain top, it is recommended to bring your own drinks and dry food.
The 'Stream Forest Playground' at the mountain top is a free small water park for children, where kids can bring their own swimsuits to enter.
Participating in the rafting activity will get you completely wet, please be sure to prepare a change of clothes.
