Pha That Luang is a symbol and one of the most important historical sites in Laos. It's over 2,000 years old and is a spiritual center for the Lao people, so important that it's even used as the national emblem.
We traveled to Pha That Luang by private car across from the Thai side. Google Maps pins directed us to park at Wat Pha That Luang Tai, which is adjacent to Pha That Luang. Upon exiting the temple, Pha That Luang was immediately within reach.
Pha That Luang is a stunningly beautiful golden structure, making it the most visited of all the other places in Vientiane. The grounds exude a sense of sacredness and reverence. Even though it's crowded, it maintains a peaceful and orderly atmosphere. #Pha That Luang Vientiane #Vientiane #WhereToVisitLaos
