I've always wanted to go on safari in Africa with my family and friends!!
I thought it was a distant dream...but I didn't expect to be able to experience it so close to home~
I easily fulfilled my African dream in Qingyuan!
And not only could I see the animals, I could get up close and personal with them~
I even had a relaxing lunch with them!
It was so relaxing~

🚄 Take the high-speed train to Qingyuan Station, then take a taxi.

📷 Tips:
1⃣ Steam Train: This little train takes you through the African savannah. I recommend sitting on the left side towards the back of the train for better animal viewing and photo opportunities, including shots with the train as it rounds bends. I looked everywhere for the Qingyuan chicken mentioned online, but couldn't find it. Maybe it ended up as a delicious dish in the restaurant, lol.
2⃣ The Great Migration of Africa: Daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, every hour, on the dot. Go to the animal entrance of the Zebra Cloud Trail to capture stunning live photos of zebras and wildebeests galloping. It's amazing!
3⃣ Giraffe Restaurant and Lion King Restaurant: Take photos and dine with giraffes and lions up close! Immerse yourself in the ambiance of an African safari resort!
4⃣ Animal Feeding: You can feed and take photos with giraffes, ring-tailed lemurs, sun conures, and more. They're very friendly and adorable!
5⃣ Giraffe Savannah: This is a must-visit photo spot!! Get up close and personal with giraffes, and capture the iconic Lion King Ferris wheel of Chimelong Qingyuan in the background. Photos with people, giraffes, and the Ferris wheel are always stunning!!

🌟 Accommodation
I stayed at the Giraffe Castle Hotel. The hotel is full of adorable giraffe designs, and you can see giraffes and zebras on the savannah from the hotel corridor. It's incredibly relaxing to sit here and enjoy the animals and scenery.
The hotel package also includes a buffet dinner with Chinese, Western, and Japanese cuisine, all of which were delicious.

🌟 More tips:
🚂 Take the little train first thing in the morning. There's almost no wait, fewer people, and better photo opportunities!
🦓 I recommend a two-day visit. The hotel and park ticket package is a great deal, offering early and unlimited park access with fewer crowds.
🎊 Don't miss the Forest Kingdom Carnival Parade. The atmosphere is fantastic! Kaka and Qiqi are so cute and enthusiastic. Who else will treat me like a kid after I leave Chimelong?!
