The "Ouyuan" in the ancient city of Qingzhou has major buildings such as Jiashan Hall, Cuncheng Hall, Feng's Ancestral Hall, Songfeng Pavilion, Wangchun Tower, etc. It is not large in scale, but has a rigorous structure and a decent layout. It has the elegant charm of Jiangnan gardens and the ruggedness and grandeur of northern gardens.
The special thing about Ou Garden is that it houses a large collection of ancient and strange stones of various shapes and sizes, which are very colorful. Therefore, it is also known as the "Stone Park". Among them, the four strange stones of "happiness, longevity, health and peace" are exquisite and extraordinary. It seems that most of these strange stones are Taihu stones. It must have been difficult to obtain these strange stones back then.
"Ouyuan" is located at No. 197 Ouyuan Street, near the south gate of the ancient city of Qingzhou, Shandong. It was the private garden of Feng Pu, the Grand Secretary of Wenhua Palace during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. Locals called it "Feng Family Garden". Ouyuan means "no one is unique".
