Shimen National Forest Park, located in Conghua City, covers a total area of 2,636 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of 98.9%. Surrounded by emerald waters and shady green islands, the park boasts 16,000 mu (approximately 16,000 mu) of virgin secondary forest, the only remaining surviving area in South China. It is known as an oasis on the Tropic of Cancer. At 1,210 meters above sea level, Tiantangding Peak is the highest mountain in Guangzhou.
Shimen Park holds a rapeseed flower festival every year. This year, the park's rapeseed fields are mainly distributed in two major areas. The Tianchi rapeseed field in the Shizao scenic area covers an area of nearly 100 mu, stretching two kilometers along the Tianchi Lake, and facing the 16,000 mu of original secondary forest across the Tianchi Lake.
Nearly 30 mu of terraced rapeseed flowers are planted along the Furong Plank Road in Shimen Scenic Area. The trickling streams, clear lakes, quaint cottages and peach blossoms dotted on the hillsides create an artistic pastoral atmosphere.
Spring: lush green leaves, sea of rapeseed flowers, the mountains are full of splendor and vitality; Autumn and winter: the mountains are covered with red leaves, the forests are dyed in all colors, like a poem and a picture
