Quanzhou is a major city in Fujian, southern China, with a long history dating back centuries.

🚢 A major port in ancient trade routes, it was also known as Zaiton, with Middle East traders also stopping by and contributing to the interesting mix of culture and architecture that persists till today.

Today, the old town might look like any other commercialised shopping street in a Chinese city, but if you look up at the buildings past the signboards you can discover interesting architectural features and maybe a unique photo spot or two!
