
Zipeng Mountain Forest Park is located in Feixi County, Hefei City, Anhui Province . Pengshan, also known as Liling Mountain, houses the tomb of Li Dian, a general of the Wei Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms period. During his time defending Luzhou, Li Dian built a temple atop the mountain to commemorate his seventh-generation ancestor, Li Ling, hence the name. According to folklore, the name " Zipeng Mountain " is derived from the purple robes of monks and the first characters of the Chinese characters for Penglai Island, implying " welcoming the purple air and heading to Penglai . "
The scenic area is a harmonious blend of mountains and water, creating a harmonious balance of movement and stillness. Numerous lakes, rivers, ponds, and springs are like pearls embedded in the green mountains. Dayan Bay offers a variety of scenery; Xianren Lake is charming and tranquil; Modun Reservoir ripples with emerald waters; and the Qiannan Canal winds like a long dragon through the mountains.
