This hotel in Shandong is my forever favorite!!

Qufu JW Marriott Courtyard Suite: An unforgettable cultural luxury stay

During a recent trip to Qufu, I stayed in the Courtyard Suite at the Qufu JW Marriott Hotel. The experience was perfect, and I can't wait to share it with you.

🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness

The hotel has excellent soundproofing, so I wasn't disturbed by outside noise while resting and could enjoy the peace and quiet. The cleanliness was impeccable, from the public areas to the guest rooms, everything was spotless, giving me a very comfortable and reassuring stay.

🏘️Room Type/Layout

As soon as you step into the hotel lobby, you are greeted by a strong Confucian cultural atmosphere, which continues into the ancient-style guest rooms. The Courtyard Suite I stayed in was well laid out and spacious. The understated design shows the designer's ingenuity. The room is connected to the courtyard, and when you open the door, you can see the rockery, the flowing stream, and the evergreen plants, like a beautiful painting that makes you feel relaxed.

🛌Supplies/Facilities

The room is well-equipped and thoughtful. The minibar is free, with a capsule coffee machine and four capsules, as well as soda and Perrier. The bathroom has symmetrical double sinks, which are very convenient to use. The bathtub comes with bath salts and soap, so you can relax when you're tired. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bed is very comfortable. The few rolls of paper in the room, which I thought were decorations, turned out to be real, which shows the hotel's attention to detail. The hotel's gym is equipped with cardio and strength areas, and the facilities are more complete than a few I've seen in Qingdao. It's off-season, so there are fewer people, and the experience is great. The pool is open and the water is clean, and you can go to the open sauna after swimming, which is very relaxing.

💰Per Capita Consumption

I stayed during the off-season, and the price was very affordable, with a high cost-performance ratio. As the first JW Marriott I've stayed at, the experience was far better than the resort hotels I've stayed at before. It's really worth it to enjoy such high-quality service and facilities for the same price.

💗Other Tips

If you plan to stay, I highly recommend communicating your special needs with the hotel in advance, and you may be pleasantly surprised with an upgrade like I was. The hotel's breakfast is great, so be sure to get up early to try the Qufu specialties such as braised pork rice, Confucius tofu, sa soup, and fried dough, as well as the fresh vegetables grown in the salad bar. In addition, the hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and you can always ask them any questions you may have. I'm sure you'll have an unforgettable time here.
