A One-Day Trip from Tai'an to Explore Qufu!

Qufu is world-renowned for the "Three Confucian Sites" and has been a pilgrimage destination for honoring Confucius throughout Chinese history. Today, we will spend one day exploring Qufu's "Three Confucian Sites."

👉【Itinerary】: Take train G345 from Tai'an Station to Qufu East Station, then take a taxi to the Qufu Three Confucian Sites Scenic Area, which takes about 20 minutes.

🕘【Opening Hours】: The "Three Confucian Sites" scenic area starts ticketing at 8:30 AM and stops at 4:30 PM.

💴【Ticket Prices】: Combined ticket for the Three Confucian Sites: 140 RMB/person (Confucius Temple: 80 RMB/person; Confucius Mansion: 60 RMB/person; Confucius Cemetery: 10 RMB/person). Students and children get half-price tickets, and seniors over 60 years old are free.

⛺【Scenic Route】: Start with the Confucius Temple, then the Confucius Mansion, and finally the Confucius Cemetery.
- "Confucius Temple": Spend about 1.5 hours here. This temple, built on the site of Confucius' former residence, features nine courtyards and covers 327 acres, making it the largest Confucian temple in China.
- "Confucius Mansion": Spend about 1 hour here. This was the residence of Confucius' descendants, who held the hereditary title of Duke Yansheng. It includes a front hall, central living quarters, and a rear garden.
- "Confucius Cemetery": This is the burial site of the Confucius family, with over 100,000 trees, making it a natural oxygen bar. Due to time constraints, we did not spend much time here.

In the afternoon, we visited the "Confucius Museum," which requires prior reservation via mobile app. It is closed on Mondays and has free admission. Plan to spend about 2-3 hours here. The museum provides insights into Confucius' life, his philosophy, and his lifelong contributions, making it an excellent destination for family trips.
