Don't miss Qujing on your day trip.

🌟Day trip itinerary suggestion:
South Gate ➡️ Ximen Street (Old Qujing Street) ➡️ Liaokuo Park

🏞️Recommended attractions:
1️⃣ South Gate 🎫 Free
The South Gate⛩️ was built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty to defend against foreign invaders. Due to historical reasons, the old city wall gradually disappeared. The current city wall was rebuilt on the site of the original South Gate. 🌟It is a landmark building in Qujing.
2️⃣ Ximen Street
Ximen Street🛣️ has existed since the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. 600 years ago, Ximen Street was one of the main streets of Qujing Prefecture🏰. Now, it still has some well-preserved representative buildings🏠. The street has many authentic snack shops🍡. You can walk🚶‍♂️ from the South Gate to this street. We highly recommend you try the authentic Qujing snacks here.
3️⃣ Liaokuo Park 🎫 Free Scenic area electric car🚌 CNY 10/person
Liaokuo Park🍃 is not far from Ximen Street. Liaokuo Park is mainly a mountain⛰️. The mountain is lush and green🌿, with a cool breeze🍃. Walk along the road🚶‍♂️ for about 50 minutes or take the scenic area electric car🚌 to reach Jingning Pagoda🗼, where you can overlook the entire Qujing cityscape🌆.

🍲Recommended food:
🍜 Lao San Ersi: Steamed Ersi is a traditional Qujing delicacy and has been included in the Yunnan Province Intangible Cultural Heritage Food List. Ersi is served with some small ingredients🥙, salty and fragrant, and sticky.
🥔 Baked Potato: I randomly tried a small shop on Ximen Street (I forgot the name of the shop😭), and it was amazing. The potatoes were soft and sticky, with more than 30 kinds of dipping sauces. You can mix and match them yourself and put them in the middle of the potatoes. The taste is sticky and fragrant, and it is called the Qujing Burger🍔.
🥘 Fuyuan Sour Soup Pig's Feet: I have never tried this method before. The pig's feet🥩 are fried, the skin is crispy, not greasy at all, and the meat is not dry. The pickled cabbage🥬 is also very refreshing.
