|. Dabei Temple was first built in the first year of the Dahe period of the Tang Dynasty (827). Dabei Temple faces south and has a rectangular layout. Its main buildings include the Offering Hall, the Passing Hall, the Heavenly King Hall, and the east and west wing rooms. The beams and brackets of the Offering Hall of Dabei Temple have completely preserved the architectural methods and styles of the Song and Jin dynasties.
There are stone tablets such as "Record of the Newly Renovated Vairocana Buddha Temple in Dabei Temple" in the 20th year of Dading in the Jin Dynasty (1180), "Record of the Reconstruction" in the 14th year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty (1535), "Record of the Dabei Temple" in the 16th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1588), and "Record of the Reconstruction of Emperor Yao and the Offering of the Temple" in the 4th year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1631).
Standing in the courtyard of Dabei Temple, one can seem to hear the footsteps of time. Ancient buildings, long history, everything seems so peaceful and tranquil.
Address: Qucun Center, Qucun Town, Quwo County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province.
