Hey friends~ Recently, I visited a super hidden gem, more low-key than Xiamen, but breathtakingly beautiful! π That's Wuyi Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and frequently recommended by National Geographic! ποΈ
π Super Convenient Transportation:
Whether you choose to take the high-speed train to Wuyi Mountain North Station/Nanping Station or fly to Wuyi Mountain Airport, you can easily reach your destination. It only takes 15 minutes by taxi from the airport and just half an hour from the high-speed train station, very convenient!
π© Full Itinerary:
Day 1: Dahongpao Scenic Area β‘οΈ Yixiantian, experience the unique charm of Wuyi Mountain and the wonders of nature.
Day 2: Nine-Bend Creek Rafting β‘οΈ Wuyi Palace β‘οΈ Song Street, experience ancient customs and feel the weight of history and cultural charm.
π Must-Visit Attractions:
Baiyun Zen Temple: Ancient paths covered with moss, like stairways through time, remember to wear non-slip shoes!
Sangu Old Street: A great place for strolling and eating, a lively old street filled with delicious food.
Wuyi Palace: A thousand-year-old Taoist temple, with osmanthus trees planted by Zhu Xi, the Song-style architecture is very charming.
Nine-Bend Creek Bamboo Raft: See Wuyi Mountain from a different perspective, the feeling of being in a painting is wonderful!
Tianyou Peak: The most worthwhile mountain to climb in Wuyi Mountain, it takes half an hour to reach the top, and the scenery is breathtaking!

The food in Wuyi Mountain is really delicious! A perfect blend of Fujian and Jiangxi flavors, absolutely mouth-watering! Highly recommend Ai Hu Restaurant's spicy tripe, wildflower omelet, beef taro, and Da San Wan's dried plum chicken feet, stir-fried snails.
βοΈ Thoughtful Tips:
Follow "China Wuyi Mountain" for online ticket purchases, there are discounts on scenic area tickets!
Be cautious when buying tea, it's recommended to buy from reputable brand stores.
Wear comfortable and lightweight clothes and shoes for climbing, safety first.
It's not recommended to climb on cloudy or rainy days, as moss can make it slippery.
Tianyou Peak is really steep, take breaks and stay safe during the climb.
There are more mosquitoes in summer, bring mosquito repellent in advance.
Book tickets for Impression Dahongpao in advance!
