2 days and 1 night in Quzhou, a hidden gem!

Quzhou locals are so tight-lipped! I can't believe I only just found out how fun and delicious this place is!
I kicked off 2025 with a trip to Quzhou, a hidden gem full of surprises, culture, food, and scenery. Quzhou, what other treasures do you have in store for me?

▪️ Fun - Southern Confucius Temple
Along with the Northern Confucius Temple in Qufu, the Southern Confucius Temple in Quzhou is one of only two Confucius temples in the world. Feel the influence of the ancient sages and take a photo at the red wall, a popular spot on social media.

▪️ Fun - Shuiting Gate
A microcosm of Quzhou's old town, with gray tiles and white walls typical of Jiangnan architecture. Tradition and modernity coexist here, with many beautiful cafes and a beautiful historical and cultural district.

▪️ Fun - Luming Cultural Park
The red house with a huge ♥️ red wall and the beautiful sunset over the Luming lawn are must-see attractions in Quzhou.

🍜 Delicious - Songyuan Market
All of Quzhou's signature breakfast foods are gathered here. A carb lover's paradise and a taste of Quzhou's everyday life. Try the pocket pancake, egg cake, baked cake, and "three heads and one palm" (duck head, rabbit head, fish head, and duck palm). Be sure to get up early to try it!

A pleasant surprise on my trip to Quzhou, the hotel maintains the quality and style of the Guantang series. Located in the Southern Confucius cultural area, it has a gentle and elegant cultural atmosphere, a beautiful garden, high-quality rooms, and a rich buffet breakfast with Quzhou specialties. I fell in love with it! The hotel is within walking distance of the Confucius Temple and Mazhandi, making it a great location!
