✨️Wat Phra Samut Chedi was originally a pagoda in the middle of the water, built during the reign of King Rama II. Later, the right bank of the river extended to connect to the island, becoming a symbol of Samut Prakan Province.

✨️In front of the pagoda, there is a royal chapel. The principal Buddha image is in the posture of calming the ocean, with the belief that it will prevent bad things from the sea, such as storms, from harming.

✨️At the back is a 5-room Western building with murals depicting the creation of Samut Prakan and Wat Phra Samut Chedi.

✨️The temple area has a walkway to the pier. There is an octagonal pillar with a lotus bud on top.
