When you come to Chengdu, Sichuan, you must visit the Hotel Indigo Heilongtan.

Location: It takes about an hour to drive from Chengdu, so it is still quite remote.
Hotel: I looked at both InterContinental Heilongtan and Indigo, and finally chose Indigo.
Because it is so beautiful, the whole environment is very comfortable, and I like the decoration very much. There are eight courtyard-style courtyards and three floors. As soon as you enter the lobby, a spiral staircase catches your eye. The black and white checkered floor matches the surroundings very well. The sofas are all leather sofas. There is a cheongsam area on the first floor. You can wear it for free to take pictures when staying in the hotel. We chose a double bed in the room. For two girls, a 1.35-meter bed is enough for one person to sleep on. The decoration style of the room also matches the window very well. It is very clean and hygienic. The hotel was built and opened in 2019. In fact, there is no smell. The bathroom is very large, with dry and wet separation, and an independent bathtub. It is very experiential. Even the wall color coming out of the corridor is very designed. It is said to be the characteristic decoration style of western Sichuan.
Breakfast: Eat at Indigo and you will have a full and good meal.
Play: The hotel shares the water park with InterContinental, so the hotel we bought also includes tickets to the water park. It's nice to go directly to the water park to take pictures. It's a 10-minute walk from the water park, and there is a free shuttle bus. The water park is very big and you can play indoors and outdoors. It should be very fun to bring children. There is not much sunlight indoors, and the outdoor scenery has a good view, but there are a lot of mosquitoes. Be prepared to repel mosquitoes, otherwise you will be bitten badly.
Delicious food: There is a restaurant next to it, but not many places to eat nearby. There is a fish restaurant near the Intercontinental, which serves silver carp, a local specialty. It's best to buy some snacks or something. It's hard to order takeout here as it's too far.
Comments: The service is not bad. I got it from the live broadcast room. The price is not bad. It’s okay to play it occasionally, but you have to pay attention to sun protection and mosquito repellent in the summer.
