The ultimate family trip in Rizhao! Self-driving from Zhengzhou and staying here made the kids go wild

Driving from Zhengzhou to Rizhao with the kids during summer vacation, I didn’t have high expectations at first, but I was amazed by Rizhao Kaiyuan Senbo! Comfortable stay, rich activities, a perfect family trip. Sharing the guide for all the moms👇

🏠Accommodation: Rizhao Kaiyuan Senbo Resort Park
The location is super good👍🏻 right by the sea, with tons of nearby attractions! To the north is Rizhao Ocean Park, to the east just across the street is Wanpingkou Golden Beach, and there’s a private passage to Dongyi Town, making evening food tours super convenient~
We brought our pet dog🐶 and chose a wooden villa. The room was spacious and bright, with a private yard where the kids could play freely, and it was very private~ We even received a small gift🎁 at check-in, the service was super thoughtful!

🚗Transportation:
The drive from Zhengzhou is about 600 kilometers⛽, around 7 hours. Important! Exit the highway at Lankao North; the Zhengzhou to Lankao section is toll-free⚠️, which saves quite a bit of money~

🌅Itinerary:
✅Day 1:
Depart from Zhengzhou in the morning🚘, arrive at the hotel in the afternoon and check in. The kids rushed straight to the water park! The indoor water park is kept at a constant 30℃ year-round🌊, with wave pools, children’s water castles, and various slides. The kids had a blast, and we could join in too~ The outdoor water park is even more thrilling, with big funnels and a lazy river that are super fun. There’s also an exciting show at night, the atmosphere is amazing🎉
In the evening, we took the private passage to Dongyi Town, where the variety of local snacks was irresistible! The steamed seafood was incredibly fresh, the spicy stir-fried clams were full of flavor, and the mackerel dumplings were delicious. Eating and strolling was so enjoyable~

✅Day 2:
Wake up early to watch the sunrise at the beach. The sunrise view from the private beach🏖️ was stunning! After watching the sunrise, we went to the Happy Ocean-themed restaurant for a buffet, dining while watching marine creatures, which lit up the kids’ eyes~
Then we visited the Fantasy Island Children’s Park🏕️, a 3,800㎡ underwater adventure theme that was super fun! There was a simulated supermarket, building blocks, and a ball pit. Kids of all ages had a great time, and ours didn’t want to leave after spending the whole afternoon there~
For lunch, we ate seafood hot pot at Yanlaixuan Restaurant🐟, packed with fresh local seafood, the taste was explosively fresh, a must-try~
In the evening, we went to Wanpingkou Scenic Area. The sand was fine, the water clear, the kids played with sand and collected shells, and we enjoyed the sea breeze on a walk. It was so relaxing~
Choosing the right hotel for a family trip with kids is really important. This Rizhao trip was an amazing experience, highly recommended for all families wanting to take their kids to see the sea!
