#One-day tour in the city
On a day trip to central Rome, walking is the best way to explore the city. In the morning, head to the Trevi Fountain. This spectacular Baroque fountain is one of the symbols of Rome, and the water is crystal clear under the morning sun. Remember to throw in a coin, make a wish, and then enjoy a cup of strong Italian coffee in a small cafe nearby to recharge for the next journey.
At noon, take a stroll to the Vatican. This is the smallest country in the world and is home to the magnificent St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums. You can visit St. Peter's Square to admire its spectacular dome, and marvel at Michelangelo's ceiling painting of the Creation of Adam in the museum. At noon, enjoy a traditional Italian lunch at a nearby small restaurant and taste the local cuisine.
In the evening, head to the Colosseum. This ancient relic witnessed the bravery of countless gladiators, and the arena looks particularly spectacular under the lights at night. At the end of this day's trip, the charm of Rome will be deeply engraved in your heart.
