The dome requires climbing many stairs, and the elevator only goes partway, so some people skip it. However, I highly recommend making the effort to climb! You'll experience a completely different view of Vatican City from above ✨

III. Vatican Museums
Home to the famous Sistine Chapel, the Vatican Museums are more expansive and impressive than you might imagine! The "Gallery of Maps," with its golden glow and maps of Italy painted on the ceiling and walls, is truly stunning ✨ The ticket counters are extremely crowded, so it's best to purchase tickets in advance.
