[Europe Travel] I went to Vatican City!

【 Vatican city | #vaticanmuseum #VaticanMuseum 】
You can really enter Vatican City without any inspection... I was not sure where the Vatican City began.

I made a reservation for the Vatican Museum (2 days in advance though...) and went there first thing in the morning.

There were so many people from 8:30 that I couldn't figure out the line, so I gave up and had a luxurious breakfast at a nearby cafe. It seems that Italian-style breakfasts sometimes involve drinking espresso and orange juice together, which is interesting.

When I checked at the cafe, it seemed like the reservation time itself was invalid 30 minutes after the reservation time? I hurried back, and there were still a lot of groups and it was quite chaotic, but I asked a staff member about the line and was able to enter right away.

There are many famous works, so I recommend deciding what you want to see and roughly deciding (checking) the route. It's so big that it's impossible to see everything carefully, and even though there were a ton of people there, there were some areas where there really weren't any people.

You can't take photos of the Sistine Chapel, which you can enter from the museum, but I've seen a replica at the Otsuka Museum of Art in Tokushima and I was like, "This is the real thing! 👀"

The spiral staircase in the first photo is at the very end of the large museum
