The Roman Forum, or Foro Romano, is one of the most iconic archaeological sites in the world and an unmissable stop when visiting Rome. Located between the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia, it was once the beating heart of ancient Rome’s political, religious, and commercial life. Walking through its ruins, visitors can admire structures like the Arch of Septimius Severus, the Temple of Saturn, and the House of the Vestal Virgins.
