Early in the morning, I headed to the Vatican Museum. The line was quite long, but thanks to my pre-booked ticket, I could enter right away! Standing before Michelangelo's 'The Creation of Adam' in the Sistine Chapel left me speechless. The overwhelming atmosphere made me even cautious about breathing.
Next was St. Peter's Basilica. Standing in the square and looking up at the sky, I felt as if the massive statue of St. Peter was embracing me. After climbing to the top of the dome, I could see the entire city of Rome at a glance, and the view was far more breathtaking than any photo could capture.
After lunch, I moved to Piazza Navona, grabbed a gelato, and sat by the fountain to enjoy a leisurely moment. It felt like a scene from a movie, with street musicians' melodies playing in the background.
The final stop was the Pantheon. It was astonishing to see an ancient temple so well-preserved, and the sunlight streaming through the dome was an indescribable marvel.
Rome is not just a city; it's like a massive museum. The deeper you explore, the more captivating it becomes. That feeling is still vivid in my mind.
