At the end of May, I set out on an unforgettable adventure through four incredible Italian cities. Each stop had its own charm, vibe, and memories worth sharing:
✨ Milan
• Visited the breathtaking Duomo di Milano — truly a masterpiece of Gothic beauty.
• Enjoyed a refreshing matcha latte at Starbucks Reserve, surprisingly delicious and a nice break during the day.
• Strolled around Navigli, the canal district, with lively bars, restaurants, and a fun evening vibe.
🚄 Travel: From Milan, I took a train to Venice, which was fast, comfortable, and scenic.
✨ Venice
• Highly recommend renting a private boat tour (~€90 for 30 minutes, max 5 people). Great value, stunning views, and our captain was super friendly.
• Taking the water taxi was another highlight — practical yet such a fun way to explore the city.
• Wandering through canals, bridges, and hidden corners felt magical and full of surprises.
🚌 Travel: After Venice, I hopped on a bus to Florence, enjoying the Italian countryside along the way.
✨ Florence
• A city full of art and calmness — perfect for those who love peace and Renaissance charm.
• Downside: taxis are expensive and hard to find, while buses often run late, so getting around can be tricky.
• Still, Florence’s beauty and atmosphere made it worth the visit.
🚌 Travel: From Florence, I continued my journey by bus to Rome.
✨ Rome (and Vatican City!)
• Absolutely stunning! The Trevi Fountain and Colosseum are even more breathtaking in person.
• Visiting Vatican City was unforgettable — and I happened to be there during a Pope’s appearance, which made it extra special (and very crowded!).
• Experiencing two countries in one trip was such a unique highlight.
🍨 Foodie Tips
• Don’t miss gelato and tiramisu — they were beyond delicious and the perfect sweet treat in every city.
👉 With a mix of trains, buses, and boats, this Italian journey was an adventure in itself. Every city had its own personality, and together they created a trip I’ll never forget.
