Our trip began at the Colosseum. Seeing the massive amphitheater in person was incomparable to what I'd only seen in photos. I could almost hear the cries of gladiators and the cheers of the crowds. Next, within walking distance of the Roman Forum, I found the remains of ancient temples and the remains of the parliament, giving me a firsthand understanding of how Rome fostered civilization. 🏛

In the afternoon, I strolled through the alleyways and stopped by a cafe for a quick gelato break. These leisurely moments were also part of the charm of my trip to Rome. In the evening, I arrived at the Trevi Fountain and tossed a coin in to make a wish. The vibrant atmosphere around the fountain and the twinkling lights combined to create a truly romantic atmosphere. 💦

The next day, we headed to the Vatican City. St. Peter's Basilica defied words for its scale and grandeur, and standing beneath Michelangelo's dome, I felt the immense power of human artistic passion. ✨ Although it was a short trip, Rome wasn't just a tourist destination; it offered a "walk through history."
