Weihai — The Most Beautiful Time in Shanhai Weihai

Weihai City is located at the eastern end of the Shandong Peninsula, bordered by the Yellow Sea to the north, east, and south. It is a beautiful coastal city.

Weihai has a long and rich history and culture. In the 31st year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty (1398), Weihaiwei was established to defend against Japanese pirates, with the name meaning "to awe the maritime frontier." This is the origin of the name Weihai. The city witnessed the tragic history of the First Sino-Japanese War. The Liugong Island First Sino-Japanese War Memorial still preserves many historical relics, telling the story of that magnificent and unforgettable past.

Weihai boasts beautiful natural scenery and an excellent ecological environment. It has an extensive coastline with fine, soft sandy beaches and clear, blue seawater. Chengshantou is the easternmost point where land meets sea in China, known as "the place where the sun rises." Here, the sea and sky meet, creating magnificent views.
