Spent half a month traveling and living with kids in Rongcheng, visited quite a few beaches, summarized as follows:
1⃣ Nishi Haitai Hotel Beach 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (p1-5)
Pros: Suitable for swimming, moderate crowd, swimming safety zone, free showers and foot rinsing, clear seawater, fine sand, shell collecting, lounge chairs and pavilions available
As a free beach, it’s already very good
2⃣ Yue’er Bay Hotel Beach 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (p6-8)
Pros: Suitable for swimming, not crowded, free foot rinsing, clear seawater, fine sand, swings (one high, one low) great for photos 📸
Cons: Rest tents require rental fees! Slightly commercialized
3⃣ Binhai Park Beach 🌟🌟🌟 (p9-10)
Pros: Suitable for swimming, close to downtown, swings to play on, there’s a Mixue Bingcheng right on the shore~
Cons: Crowded, visited twice on cloudy days, seawater not very clear, seaweed present, quite commercialized, paid foot rinsing
4⃣ Naxianghai 🌟🌟🌟 (p11-13)
Pros: Convenient food and drink on shore, diamond beach, very fine sand, suitable for swimming, safety zone
Cons: Extremely crowded, heavily commercialized, paid foot rinsing, difficult parking
5⃣ Ailian Bay Beach 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (p14-16)
Pros: Fine sand, clear seawater, stone and shell collecting, pavilions, almost no people, very suitable for relaxing! Suitable for swimming (but be cautious)
Cons: No foot rinsing area
6⃣ Dongchu Island Beach 🌟🌟🌟🌟 (p17-18)
Pros: Almost no people, clear seawater, large wind turbines along the coastline look great, free foot rinsing pool
Cons: Relatively remote, lots of seaweed, moderate sand fineness
