We booked our return ticket through Rottnest Express and got hit with a classic travel curveball—the earliest departure was cancelled because of bad weather. Plot twist! 😳 But honestly, nothing could stop us from living our best island life on Rottnest Island.
Despite the shaky start, we still had the absolute highlight: meeting the world’s cutest animal, the legendary Quokka! These little guys are sooo photogenic and honestly the main reason everyone’s obsessed with Rottnest. If you’re ready for non-stop wholesome vibes, it’s a must!
Our adventure kicked off at Parker Point (Parker Point Rd, Rottnest Island WA 6161, Australia), open all day, every day. The water here is unreal—think turquoise for days! Perfect spot for a sunrise stroll or a cheeky dip.
Next, we hit up Little Salmon Bay (Rottnest Island WA 6161). Again, open 24/7, so you can vibe at your own pace. If you’re into snorkeling or just lazing on the sand, you’ll wanna add this bay to your bucket list. Aqua blue waters + chill energy = pure vacay goals. 🌊
Of course, Rottnest Island itself (Western Australia 6161, Australia; admission fee: 457.0) is serving scenic views, dreamy bike paths, and endless seaside snaps. The whole island is open all day, which means you won’t miss out no matter when you arrive.
Pro tip: Check the weather before you book your ferry and stay flexible in case nature throws you a curveball. Even with a cancelled early ride, the experience was epic!
So if you’re chasing good weather, adorable animals, and Instagrammable beaches, Rottnest Island is the move. Don’t forget to book your tickets via trip.com for max convenience!
