Rottnest Island Perth

Rottnest is a must do if you’re visiting Perth! Rottnest is home to the Quokkas, they are so cute and actually are not bothered by humans, they don’t like to be touched or fed but you can get close enough for a Quokka selfie! There are so many beauty spots on this island. This was our first time visiting Rottnest and we decided to take Rottnest Express bus which is a hop on hop off express bus that can take you all around the island. Be aware if you’re going for the day you won’t make it to every stop so you’re better picking the top spots on the island. You can also choose to cycle around the island but if you’re anything like us, the island is very hilly and we decided to save our legs! We ate lunch at Pinky’s restaurant which is near the end stops on the bus, this is where there are a lot of Quokkas! The food was lush and so were the cocktails!
