The free lantern festival is full of festive vibes! I used to only associate Qionglai with Mount Tiantai, but I never expected it to have developed into such a fun place over the years! Take a 40-minute high-speed train from Chengdu to Linqiong Ancient City for a day trip! Celebrate the Lunar New Year in a festive atmosphere!

🚄Transportation: Both East and West Railway Stations have trains to Qionglai, taking around 40 minutes

If you want to hike during the day, you can choose Baihe Mountain nearby, which takes about 2 hours and is beginner-friendly. There is vegetarian food available on the mountain. Besides the lantern festival, the small shops in Linqiong Ancient City are also fun to explore, so take your time to enjoy.
