The beautiful Pangong Tso Lake

Every inch of land is worth fighting for. Pangong Tso Lake is a lake on the border between China and India. The eastern two-thirds of the lake is located within China, while India occupies a small portion of the western section. Interestingly, these two areas are vastly different. The eastern part is abundant with lush water plants, numerous fish, and flocks of birds, presenting a vibrant scene. In contrast, the western side is a desolate and lifeless wasteland. Pangong Tso Lake sits at an altitude of over 4,200 meters, and the limited human activity in the surrounding area makes it a rare pristine land on our planet. The unpolluted lake water is exceptionally clear and transparent. Due to varying depths, the lake surface displays different colors, such as grass green, dark green, sky blue, and deep blue, resembling a colorful gemstone necklace. The surrounding snow-capped peaks always vanity themselves by casting their beautiful reflections onto Pangong Tso Lake, dancing with the white clouds in the water. Sometimes they look like hounds chasing sheep, and sometimes like elephants strolling. Standing by the lake, one's body seems to sink to the bottom, swimming with the Schizothorax fish, while the soul soars into the clouds, flying with the brown-headed gulls. My way of immersing myself in the beauty was primitive and romantic: I used a bag of bread and a bag of instant noodles to successfully attract the big birds in front of others. The beauty of Pangong Tso Lake is inseparable from the protection of our heroes. "Pure love, only for China!" resounds throughout the land. We mourn the departure of our heroes, but we admire their deeds even more. With you, China will prosper!
