Chasing Sakura at Sumiyoshi Zakura Kawasaki

First up is Sumiyoshi Zakura! Located just 3 minutes on foot from Mototsumiyoshi Station, this 2 km stretch along the Shibu River is lined with 250 cherry trees of the Somei-yoshino variety. It’s a beloved local sakura spot!🌸
The photos are from a previous year when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and the best time to visit is typically from late March to early April each year. Nearby Nakahara Heiwa Park is also a popular cherry blossom spot, where you can enjoy beautiful sakura views and lively events such as the cherry blossom festival.
