#OsakaStrategy
Sumiyoshi Taisha is a historic shrine located in Sumiyoshi Ward, Osaka City, and is known as the head shrine of all Sumiyoshi shrines across the country. Worshipped as the god of maritime safety, business prosperity, and household safety, it is visited by many worshippers throughout the year. The distinctive Soribashi (drum bridge) is a beautiful vermilion-painted arched bridge that is also famous as a photogenic spot. The main hall is designated as a national treasure, and the unique architectural style known as "Sumiyoshi-zukuri" is extremely valuable. It is especially lively during events such as New Year's and Setsubun, and is a sacred place that is a part of the lives of local people. The grounds are spacious and surrounded by a quiet, soul-cleansing atmosphere, making it a hidden healing spot in the city. This is a must-see shrine in "#OsakaStrategy" where you can feel the history, faith, and culture.
