#TravelChat When visiting Tha Rae Village in Sakon Nakhon Province, a must-see is another famous attraction in Tha Rae: this ancient house, over 100 years old. This house was once the home of Mr. Noo Sriworakul, or Hian Rian Ding Ding, and Mrs. Noona Upphong, the sons of Phraya Prachantapratet Thani, the governor of Sakon Nakhon. It was also used as a Christian religious site until recently. Since then, it has not been renovated, leaving it sparsely populated by Bodhi trees, transforming it into a unique and intriguing abandoned house. It's become a popular tourist destination for sightseeing and photo opportunities. The village is open to the public all day long. Other attractions within the village include the Udomdetwat Mansion and the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael, both equally noteworthy.
The community also boasts an OTOP shop, perfect for souvenir shopping. Have you been there? Share your experiences and share your favorite trips with us.
