Hasedera Temple is an ancient temple in Kamakura, also known as the "Flower Temple." Situated on a small hill, it offers a panoramic view of Kamakura. With its meticulously planted trees and a variety of flowers, it offers a beautiful and lush atmosphere from every angle. The temple's landscaped gardens are exquisite and retain a distinctly Japanese identity, a rare sight today. It offers a tranquil atmosphere while strolling through.
The temple also houses the 11-faced Kannon statue, the largest wooden Buddha statue in Japan. Hasedera Temple also houses a cave called Benten Kutsu.
Admission: ¥200 for children and ¥400 for adults.
