[Samarkand] The golden Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum

A must-see spot when you go to Samarkand!

This is the tomb where the Timurids, the founders of the Timurid Empire, were buried, but it is such a gorgeous and beautiful tomb...😳

The interior is beautiful with gold decorations and delicate blue mosaics,

The exterior is Samarkand blue, and there are also rare white-based areas. It's a sight to behold💮

Admission fee: 40,000 UZS (about 485 yen / rate as of November 2024)

It was about a 15-minute walk from Registan Square🚶

I went there around 5pm in September, but it was still bright and I was able to take beautiful photos♪
