The jewel of Samarkand - Registan Square

There is a jewel-like square in Samarkand, the ancient capital of Uzbekistan🇺🇿. Registan means a place of sand in Uzbek. Today, it is a World Heritage Site because of the beautiful architecture that remains.

[Ulugh Beg Madrasah] The first educational facility built on the west side of Registan Square

[Sher Dol Madrasah] Built about 200 years later on the east side of Registan Square

[Tira-Kali Madrasah] The last to be built on the north side of Registan Square, with beautiful gold leaf decorations inside💎

At night, a light-up show is held to music.
