Discover the ancient charm of Segovia, home to the magnificent Roman aqueduct, the stunning cathedral, and the enchanting Snow White Castle 🏰.
Starting from Madrid, journey to this timeless city—Segovia. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985, every step in this city feels like walking through history.
🌉 Roman Aqueduct
Built in 38 BC, the Romans constructed this 728-meter-long double-tiered aqueduct using over 20,000 granite stones. Standing beneath it, you can almost hear the water flowing from two millennia ago. Today, it still stands tall, like a silent guardian of the city.
🏰 Strolling and Dining Tips:
The old town is perfect for a leisurely walk. A short stroll will take you to the Segovia Cathedral. Its Gothic spires resemble a gathering of fairies, and sunlight streaming through the stained glass windows creates colorful patterns on the floor—absolutely breathtaking.
No wonder it’s called the "Lady of Cathedrals" 😍.
Alcázar Castle
The inspiration for Disney’s Snow White Castle! With its pointed towers, moat, and armor exhibition hall, climbing to the top offers views of snowy mountains and plains. (Secret: There’s an underground passage leading to the river, once used as a royal escape route!)
Must-Try: Roast Suckling Pig
At a century-old restaurant, savor the famous Cochinillo, traditionally cut with a plate, earning applause from the entire room!
