The Heart of Samarkand! Be Awed by the Stunning Registan Square

The most captivating place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, has to be Registan Square! ✨

The grandeur of the three madrasahs (Islamic schools) surrounding the square—Ulugh Beg Madrasah, Sher-Dor Madrasah, and Tilya-Kori Madrasah—is far more breathtaking in person than any photograph can capture.

The magnificent buildings adorned with vivid blue and green tiles are picturesque from every angle, truly embodying the essence of Samarkand, the "City of Blue." 🎨

This time, I had the special opportunity to climb one of the minarets! After ascending the narrow and steep stairs (it was exhausting, haha), I was rewarded with the ultimate panoramic view overlooking the entire Registan Square! 🙌

The geometric patterns created by the blue domes and minarets, combined with the sight of people bustling around the square below, made for an incredibly moving experience. It felt as though I had traveled back in time.

At night, the square is illuminated, offering a magical beauty distinct from its daytime charm. If you're visiting Samarkand, Registan Square is an absolute must-see and will undoubtedly become an unforgettable highlight of your trip!
